Better version
Saturday, March 12, 2000: The site marked by the Church of the Holy Sepulchre
was outside the walls of Jerusalem at the time of Christ and was already being
venerated as the site of the crucifixion and resurrection when Queen Helena had
the shrine erected there in A.D. 326.
In this picture we see what is said to be the hole into which Christ's cross
was placed.
