Better version

Wednesday, February 9, 2000: Looking north from Gadot we could see the highest mountain in Israel, Mt. Hermon (where the only ski hills in Israel are found). Mt. Tabor, south-west of the Sea of Galilee, is the traditional site of Christ's transfiguration, but I have read that some ascribe the event to Hermon. That would have been quite a hike (and I imagine they might have needed their touques and mittens)!
