RP on Masada
Thursday, February 10, 2000: Looking over the walls of Masada, we were able to
see the remains of the ramp which the Romans had Jewish slaves build in order
to breach the walls in A.D. 73. If you can pick out the car near the top of
the picture, you can get some idea of the size. The object in the foreground is,
I believe, a spotlight. I suspect this was not made in A.D. 73.
